Week 2 Post 1
Week 2 update
I have been sort of stuck since the start of my documentation with a project that I have traded work for, however I have finished it! It was a big project, and a tough one. I am not really set up nor do I have the time to allocate to building large projects but this one was for my sister so I decided to try and knock it out. It took way longer, I anticipated I would get it completed way quicker and was wrong, but now I am finished and can get to making smaller projects to get listed and sell, you do not understand how relieved and excited I am to get some more projects going, it's a huge relief and sense of achievement!
Again, we are going to give it a go on week 2 and try to get the following items built and listed to see if we can turn a profit and get a ball rolling in the right direction.
Dog bowl stand - $50
Simple wall décor shelving - $40
Candle holder - $30
Buffalo wall décor sign - $75
Rustic country vase - $45
Total - $240
Total - $240
I have an idea of what I would like to sell each of these for and the price is listed next to the item. If I can get these items built, listed to sell and sold within a weeks time, I could be on track to making my $1,000 a month goal which would be amazing !!!!
I have to get my game face on; I will work 1 hour each morning. I am going to try to get all of the projects cut out one day, sanded one day, installed one day, and painted the last day. That will leave me 2 weekend days to try get a couple of large projects built and completed. I have a mud bench restoration, and would like to build 2 crib benches on Saturday, and would love to be able to have something else on my plate for Sunday.
I will take it one day at a time, see what I can get accomplished tomorrow morning and re-evaluate and adjust my goals for the week each day for maximum efficiency.
Thats about it for my week 2 update, I'm going to try to build some momentum and get some money coming in!
Thank you for sticking with me and if you like what I am doing follow me on the different platforms below, thank you for your support!!!!!
