A Little About Myself

Let's get started!  I will tell you a little bit about myself and why I am creating this blog.

First off I am a proud father of a little girl and husband and these girls are my world!  I owe these girls everything because they deserve the absolute best!  We live an average middle class life and are always striving for more.  

I have been raised with a construction background as my father was a builder and job foreman on many homes averaging a size of 26K square feet...  yes, you read that right, 26K sq ft!  So since I have been a little kid I have been around construction pretty much my whole life.  I have quite a bit of interest in construction but never really realized it until I had to work in other industries that I had no interest in..  I have always had "the grass is greener perspective", but how else are we going to learn right!?  I am currently in the oil and gas transportation industry working for a very reputable corporate company.  I need to come up with an outlet to help escape the cubicle and this blog is the result!  So I hope that it turns out as well as I envision and let it be a little bit of inspiration to those who are stuck in the rat race.  With my knowledge in construction and specialty in finish carpentry I will provide information on furniture and project building, around the house maintenance, and other wood work information.  I will also let everyone know what tools and material I like to use and I will be using this information as an affiliate that I do make commissions on.  So please stay tuned for the updcoming posts to come and please feel free to get in touch with me about questions of posts or myself that you would like to know more about.  I want this blog to be engaging as possible.  If all goes well I would like to possibly create a podcast to provide information as well.
